A very rainy morning today but we kepy busy by painting and playing games under the porch.
They had a croissant eating competition which was great fun and the winner was Maria who had great technique and even managed to catch the last bit before it fell!
We then prepared some post-it notes with messages and some pictures for Leo who was leaving for England the next day for
Then inside to paint the volcanoes and when it dried up a bit they were able to go outside to play for a while.
After lunch and homework the weather was better and they split into two teams and hid cones for each other and had good fun trying to find them all around the grounds.
Later, the boys went off to do some archery and the girls were preparing a dance.
After showering, we made a photo frame and Carol went to print out some group photos to put in them. They are now all in the lounge area above the fireplace - it looks like a real home!!!
The night games were really good fun. They had cellophane paper over the torches of different colours and made teams and played lots of games.
The children were in charge of the magic box tonight and they let Leo open it and she then had to guess all the childrens' names with a blindfold on and when she got them all correct we gave her the book of pictures and said goodbye to her. It was ever so sweet as the box was also filled with post-it notes that they had written for her.
